1 injured after Cincinnati high school shooting - New York Daily News



GoogleLa Salle High School in Cincinnati was on temporary lockdown Monday morning after reports of a shooting on campus.

One person was injured in a high school shooting in Cincinnati, prompting a brief lockdown Monday morning, police said.

Authorities and emergency crews arrived at La Salle High School before 9:15 a.m., and the victim was taken to the hospital, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said.

At that point, officials said the threat at the school was no longer active.

Authorities said they've confirmed the victim's identity but wouldn't immediately release it to the public.

Reports indicate the shooting may have been self-inflicted, according to CBS affiliate WHIO-TV.

La Salle is an all-male Catholic high school.
